Everglades National Park was developed to look after the land’s ecosystem which is known to be in a delicate condition. That is what sets this park apart from any other national park all over the world which specializes in maintaining and preserving their unique geographical features. Besides being the United States’ largest subtropical wetland, this park has been declared as being a Wetland of International Importance and an International Biosphere Reserve. Located in the South of Florida, this particular National Park was developed in 1947 and it is the country’s third largest park just after Yellowstone and Death Valley.
