DeLonghi Espresso Maker, Excellent Machine & Easy To Use!
My wife and I consider ourselves to be connoisseurs of coffee. There is simply nothing more satisfying than a great cup of coffee whether it is an espresso, latte, or cappuccino. That’s why we decided to buy ourselves a quality espresso machine to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. This machine is capable of preparing all the drinks we like and more. It is super-automatic and has a unique beans-to-brew system that grinds the coffee beans immediately prior to brewing so that you get an incredible aromatic espresso!
We thought that we would have to spend over $1000 for this espresso maker, so we were pleasantly surprised when we saw that it was priced between $779 & $899. We ordered our espresso machine, we received it shortly thereafter and tried it out immediately. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the espresso is brewed at a consistent temperature because of the even heat distribution provided by the stainless steel double boiler. The taste of the espresso is dependant on the even temperature and this machine has an instant reheat action that keeps the temperature the same no matter how long between cups.
The features of the espresso maker fit well into the space provided on the front of the machine. The burr grinder is space saving and the grind level is adjustable, however the machine also uses pre-ground coffee. The control panel is located on the front of the machine, is easily accessible while allowing access to the rest of the machine. The front control panel also allows you to set the water and coffee quantity.
How delightful our new espresso maker is! The superior heat distribution , even though it has the smallest removable brewing system available, ensures that every cup of espresso brewed is at the ideal temperature. Cleaning inside the machine is remarkably easy because of the removable brew group. Harsh detergents are not required, as on some machines, because all areas of the machine are accessible. This is the nicest gift that my wife and I have ever purchased for ourselves.
We decided to make a large investment on a DeLonghi Espresso Maker that would eliminate the $4 to $7 coffee bar drinks and still satisfy our need for great espresso.
